Today sees us with a cloudy start and it will remain cloudy or partially cloudy throughout the next 24 hours. The jet stream is moving away from the current position of across the UK and by early next week we should see the temperature move into the mid twenty degree area!
Today we will have a generally dry day although the radar images do show some rain clouds moving through our area around lunchtime/early this afternoon. This system may simply blow by , however, it also does bring a 55% risk of rain. Overnight will also remain dry with a minimum temperature of a very mild 15c.
The wind will be deriving from the SW this morning before moving clockwise towards the W during the afternoon. The average wind speed will be around 6-7mph.
The best day over the weekend will be Sunday. Saturday will be mostly dry and we may see some rain later in the day.
