It was a much milder night last night and I would imagine that most people could have felt the cooler breeze appear in our area mid to late afternoon on Wednesday.
Today the breeze will, once again, be bringing cooler air from a WSW-W arc and although it will still be a generally bright day the top temperature will be a little reduced to around 24c. Overnight will also be generally more pleasant with an overnight low of around 15c (this will be similar to last night’s low of 14.3c at 04:39 hours).
The big difference from Tuesday, when the top temperature was 31.4c, is that the wind will be travelling from the W across the cool Atlantic sea and not from the SE bringing warm air from the Mediterranean. The average wind speed today will be around 4mph.
There will be some often thin high to medium high cloud around for the majority of the day and these clouds will bring a 55% risk of localised rain showers as the day cools (from around late afternoon).
Summary: Another generally warm day but not as hot as those recently experienced.
