A bright and sunny Monday

As we discussed in yesterday’s blog today and tomorrow will see us enjoy some warmer brighter weather!

The radar images do show that there is some light cloud, high level cloud, around today but this cloud will be thin enough and fragment regularly to allow a good day of bright sunshine.  The risk of rain today is less than 3%.

Our top temperature today will be around 22-23c and overnight the minimum temperature will be around the 12c mark.  Last night / this morning’s minimum temperature was 9.1c at 05:59 hours.

Those of you that have barometers at home will see the air pressure reduce slightly (to around 1020mb) over the next couple of days despite the warmer and brighter weather.  This reduction is the precursor for less favourable weather later in the week.

The wind today will be generally light and deriving from the NW first thing this morning before moving clockwise and bringing with it warmer air from the SE (the so called Spanish plume).

Summary: A generally bright and warm day.
