Not a very bright start

It is a very overcast start to the morning and the rain radar images are showing that a band of rain will move into our area as we make our way to work today (from around 08:00). The air pressure at 06:30 was falling slowly which is another indicator of a changing weather picture.

Today sees many head to the V festival at Weston Park.  If, this morning, you are pitching your tent at the event  then I would advise that you try to do so on higher ground which should then prevent too much of the rain running through your temporary home.

The risk of some rain this morning is 93%.  As the day passes the risk will gradually reduce and we should see some dry and possibly clear periods overnight.

Our top temperature today will be around 18-19c and overnight the minimum temperature will be 13c.

The wind will be deriving from the ESE-SE for much of the day and the average wind speed will be around 6mph.

Saturday will see a day of showery and breezy weather but Sunday, at the moment, looks as if it will be a lot more settled with less risk of rain.
