After a really bright start

Despite a bright start at sunrise the rest of the morning will be a generally cloudy affair. The rain radar images are showing that there are some rain clouds moving across the country but if they continue their current line of movement then they are most likely to miss our area.

The risk of rain today is around 10%.  This low risk of rain figure is supported by the fact that the air pressure is steadily rising and will reach 1023mb by the end of the day.

Our top temperature today will be around 18c which, in itself, is still mild. Overnight the minimum temperature will be 11-12c.  This is similar to the overnight minimum temperature of 11.4c.

The wind will be bringing with it with cool air for the majority of the day from the NW.  the average wind speed will be around 5mph.  This is very different from the warm SE air we were receiving during the middle of the week.
