Our area had already received a small amount of overnight / early morning rain by the time I made my observations and the radar images are showing that there is a small rain carrying cloud system that will move just the south of our area fist thing this morning.
The good news is that the system will be clear of our “patch” by around 09:30 hours and the risk of rain/drizzle between 06:40 and 09:30 hours , in our area, is about 40%. The further south of Hammerwich you are the risk will increase.
This morning will see some cloud fragmentation that will allow for some brighter spells to develop. This will help our top temperature to climb to around 14c. Overnight the minimum temperature will be around 8c.
The breeze will be deriving predominantly from a WNW/NW arc and the average wind speed will be around 6mph. Gusts speeds will be around 15-18mph.
Summary : Early cloud dissipating to leave some some brighter spells.
