Sowing the beans (21-10-2016)

High air pressure continues to dominate in our area and this situation will continue for a few more days, at least, yet.  We will see the air pressure vary a little but overall it is remaining high.  This period of dry weather is allowing our local farmers to sow some winter beans.

Today will be another cool day with a maximum temperature of 11 to 12c an an overnight low of around 5-6c.  Last night the minimum temperature was 6.2c at 02:50 hours.

Today will continue the theme that we are now getting well accustomed with namely; partial cloud and some bright spells.  The radar images are showing little or no risk of rain.  There is certainly no greater than a 10% risk of measurable rain today.

The wind will be bringing with it cool air from a NW-NE and the average wind speed is only going to be light at around 5mph.

Summary : Another day with some partial cloud cover, cool northerly breeze and sunny spells.
