Who turned the sun off?

Weather report 26 May 2010 at 06:26I do hope that you managed to venture into the great outdoors yesterday because today will not be such a pleasant day to do so.  This morning is so dull it looks as if someone has turned the sun off!

I should, however, not sell today’s weather too short as it will not prevent outdoor activities but it will be a generally cooler and duller day.

The radar images are showing that there are plenty of small rain cloud systems working their way through our area today and these bring with them a 55% risk of some light rain / drizzle.  Any rainfall may not even be measurable.

Our top temperature will reach around 11.5 and overnight we will see a similar low to last night of around 5.5c to 6c.  Last night’s low was 5.4c at 03:20 hours.

The cool wind will be the key factor to the day bringing with it coll air from the NE/ENE.  The average wind speed will be around 6mph.

Summary : Remaining generally dry but cool and cloudy.  A small risk of some light rain / drizzle.
