Joyce’s birthday weather (25/10/2016)

Weather report 26 May 2010 at 06:26Today is my Mom’s birthday and so it is important that I sort out some decent October birthday weather for her!

The surface  air pressure will remain high and, for the majority of the day, the wind will be deriving from the NE.  This means that we will see some bright spells and a very low risk of rain.  The risk of any rain is around 11% today.  The greater risk will be later in the day when the wind shifts from the NE to SE.  This will see the cloud cover increase from early evening.

Our top temperature today will be around 12c and overnight the low will be around 8-9c.

The wind will be generally a light breeze  with an average speed of 3-4mph.

The rest of the week will see more cloud prominent as, by Friday, low surface pressure moves fully into our area.  This does not necessarily mean that we will see more rain but the risk will certainly be higher than it has been recently.

Summary : A generally dry day with some brighter spells.  Becoming cloudier later. Remaining mild.
