It is very misty and damp first thing this morning. Great care will need to be taken on the journey to work today as the mist may be dense enough to be declared as fog in places (visibility less than 1,000m for aviation 200m for motorists) .
The mist will clear as the morning passes and we will be left with a dry, partially cloudy day. The risk of any rain after 11:00 hours today (when the mist will have cleared) is 7%. The top temperature will rise to around 13-14c. Overnight we will see the last mild night for a couple of days with a low of around 8c. Tuesday into Wednesday and Wednesday into Thursday we will see overnight temperatures reduce to around 2-3c.
The wind today will be bringing in mild air from a SW-SE arc. The average wind speed will be around 2mph. From today we will see the wind move direction towards the NW.
