Feeling cool (WS7weather report 18-11-2016)

ws7-weather-reportThe low pressure system that developed high winds in some areas yesterday remains firmly planted above our area and will, in fact, take a few day before moving on.  We can, therefore expect another breezy day at times today.

It will be a bright morning with some clear spells.  The cloud cover will increase slightly during the afternoon and these clouds will bring a 25-30% risk of rain showers to our area from around 14:00 hours.

The top temperature today will be a cool 6c and overnight we can expect the thermometer to settle, at a minimum, around 2c.   If you out in the wind then the wind chill will reduce the “feel” of the air temperature by around 3c.

The wind will be deriving from the SW-WSW for the majority of the day.  The average wind speed will be around 7mph with gust speeds of around 25mph

Summary : Another bright morning but cool and breezy.  Becoming cloudier during the afternoon which, in turn, develops a risk of showers.
