Does all the cloud today mean it is going to rain? (WS7weather report 27-11-2016)

ws7-weather-reportWhat you see as you look out of the window this morning is a fair indication of how the remainder of the day will pan out.

It is going to be a generally cloudy day with high level cloud in the main dominating.   We may see some cloud lower develop from time to time which will reduce the amount of daylight we will receive.

There is little risk of rain (less than 6%) today as the air pressure will continue to increase as the day passes.  By the end of the day we can expect the barometer to read around 1028mb.

Our top temperature will be around the 6-7c mark and overnight we are beginning to head towards a cooler spell.  Tomorrow morning we will see that the overnight low was around 2c. On Monday and Tuesday night the overnight low will be around or below freezing point.

Today’s wind will, once again be deriving from the NNE-NE and the average wind speed will be around 4mph.

Summary : A generally cloudy but dry day with the possibility of the odd brighter spell.
