A mild start to the day (WS7weather report 2-12-2016)

ws7-weather-reportAfter the last few early morning frosts today sees a much milder start to the day with the air temperature at 07:00 hours around 6c.

The air pressure is also set to remain high for the rest of the day (and will remain high over the weekend) so we can expect it to be a dry day.  The risk of any rain today is less than 7%.   Despite the low risk of rain there will be plenty of cloud cover today with just the odd brighter spell.

Our top temperature will be around 7-8c today and overnight will also remain mil due to plenty of cloud cover.  The minimum overnight temperature will be around 4-5c.

The wind will be light and deriving from the NW.  The average wind speed will be around 1-2mph.

The weekend looks set to be a dry and mild couple of days with the top air temperature around 5-6c.  Good weather for getting out and about Christmas shopping.
