Lantern and Food festival Weather report (WS7weather report 11-12-2016)

ws7-weather-reportAfter yesterday’s showery interludes (around 7mm of rain fell in our area yesterday) today will see a generally dry day.  This is good news if you are planning to visit the Food and Drink Festival in Lichfield or the Christmas Fair and Lantern Parade at Chasewater.

Today will see a general cloud covering but the cloud will be at a generally medium to high height and often thin.  The risk of rain today is only around 7%.

It will be a mild day with the top temperature around 8c.  Overnight we will see the thermometer reading reduce to around 5c.

The wind will be deriving from the WSW which will be helping to create the cloud cover but it also means that it will be a mild day.  A good compromise overall!  The average wind speed will be around 4mph.

Summary : An often cloudy but dry day.  Only a very low risk of rain.
