Last day of school weather (WS7weather report 16-12-2016)

ws7-weather-reportOnce again the high pressure system sitting above our area is ensuring that there is only a light breeze blowing today.  The breeze, however, is bringing with it mild air from the SE so it will be another mild but often cloudy day.

Early this morning we are likely to see some clearer spells but the cloud will become more widespread as the day passes.  The cloud will be generally at a medium height.  Along with the cloud cover comes a 20% risk of some rain.

Our top temperature today will be around 9-10c and overnight will see very little variance as the minimum temperature will only reduce to around 5-6c.

The wind will spend most of the deriving from the SSE-SE corner.  The average wind speed will only be around 3-5mph.

Overall it will be a pleasant day for all of those breaking up from school for the christmas holidays.  Whilst there is another week for the majority of us to go to work we can can look forward to much quieter road journeys next week.

Summary : Another mild but cloudy day.
