A good day for Christmas shoppping? (WS7weather report 22-12-2016)

ws7-weather-reportToday starts off a little cooler than yesterday so if you are going for an early morning walk or ride then you will need to make sure than you are suitably wrapped up.

Today will be the brightest day of the week with the clear sky that we enjoyed overnight spreading into the day.  If you have started your Christmas holiday then today will be a lovely day for getting out and about.  The risk of any rain today is only 18-20%.

Our top temperature will be around 8c and overnight the minimum will be around 3-4c.

The wind will be deriving from the SSW -SW and the average speed will be around 6mph.

As the day passes, into the late afternoon and early evening, the cloud cover will increase slightly and by tomorrow we are likely to be back under a “bed of cloud”.  This is due to a low pressure system to the north of the UK “squeezing” down the UK and condensing the warmer southerly breezes.  We will also see wind speeds increase over the next few days.

Summary :  A brighter day than yesterday.  Generally mild too.
