Let me start off by immediately wishing all my readers a very Merry Christmas and to thank you for supporting this blog!
If you have had a new bike, or any other outdoor equipment that needs testing then I am pleased to say that during today’s daylight hours it will be a mild day with some bright spells. Our top temperature will be around 13c. This is in stark contrast to 2010 when at 09:27 hours I was recording a temperature of -5.4c.
The minimum temperature overnight tonight will be around 4-5c.
Today will also be a breezy day and so if you have had a drone for christmas I am afraid that conditions will not be ideal for that maiden flight. The wind will be deriving from the WSW-SW and the average wind speed will be around 12-14mph.
Tonight sees a band of rain pushing across our area and this will reach our area by late tonight and overnight. The risk of some rain is 80%.
Summary : A breezy but mild day. Risk of rain late tonight/ overnight.
