It is another deep grass frost that starts the day. The frost has been enhanced the moisture from the mist and fog patches that many of us encountered yesterday. Hammerwich was particularly misty at times.
The air pressure will, once again remain high and, therefore, the risk of any rain today is less than 5%. We will see some odd bright spells break through the cloud bed. A lovely day for taking some winter scene photographs.
The air temperature at 09:30 hours is still below freezing pint and it will take until at least noon to reach positive figures. Our top temperature during daylight hours is only likely to be around 3-4c. In the late afternoon, just like yesterday, we are likely to see patches of mist form. Overnight we will see the air temperature maintain at around 2-3c.
The wind this morning will only be a whisper but as the day passes we will see just a minor increase to around 3mph. The wind will be deriving from the SW.
Summary : A cold morning with only minor improvement later in the day. A risk of mist mid to late afternoon.
