Hold on to your hat! (WS7weather report 11-1-2017)

ws7-weather-reportIt is a very breezy start to the day with wind speeds of up to 30mph and averaging around 13mph as I write this blog at approximately 06:35 hours.  The blustery force 5-6 breeze will remain with us for today and, at least, tomorrow.

The day will start off mild but as time passes the wind direction derive more from the NW and this will bring with it cooler air.

At the time of my observations we had already seen the top temperature of the day (10.4c at 04:21 hours).  By midday we can expect the air temperature to be around 6c.  Overnight the low will be around 3c.  With a wind chill of around 3c today will be very cool at times.

There is only a 10% risk of any precipitation in our area today.  It will often be  bright day.

Tomorrow afternoon sees the first risk of some light snow flurries in our area although the risk, at present, is at around 45%.
