Despite the light overnight/early morning rain I am pleased to report that the air pressure will steadily rise to around 1035mb today. This means that we are less likely to have another drizzly day (the sort of which we encountered yesterday).
There is still a maximum 20% risk of some light drizzly rain during the day but this risk will reduce as the day passes.
It will be a cloudy and dull day with plenty of low-level cloud. This cloud will thicken at other levels too leaving us with a dull day. This cloud cover will reduce the warming properties of the sun and our top temperature will only be around 6c. Overnight the minimum temperature will be around 4c.
The wind will start off from the NNE but will travel clockwise to spend most of the day deriving from the SE/S. The average wind speed will be around 5mph.
Summary for today : A cloudy dull day. A low risk of rain and little possibility of any bright spells.
