Can we have our sun back please? (WS7weather report 18-1-2017)

ws7-weather-report

Today, once again, starts off with some light rain /drizzle.  This drizzle will add little to the overall gauge measurements for the month but it will make the journey to work unpleasant – especially if you are on foot.

The air pressure is, however, high and so this means that we should see the rain clear and the risk  of precipitation for the remaining daylight of hours will be around 30%.

It will, however, be a cloudy day with low and high level cloud preventing almost any bright spells to shine through.

Our top temperature today will be around 6-7c and overnight the minimum will be around 5c.

The wind today will be deriving from the SW during the daylight hours before moving slightly towards the W later in the day.  The average wind speed will be a gentle 3-5mph.

Summary for today :  Early morning drizzle should clear to leave another cloudy day.
