How warm? (WS7weather report 20-2-2017)

smalllogo

It will be a very mild air temperature that greets you as you make your journey to work and those of you that are on half term holiday will certainly have a warmer than normal first day of your February half termholiday.

Our top temperature today will be around 13c and overnight we again will remain mild at around 9c.  Last night’s minimum temperature was 10.1c at 00:00 hours.

I cannot, however, promise too much in the way of sunshine as the mild WSW  wind will be developing plenty of clouds.  This cloud will not bring too much threat of rain during daylight hours (14% risk of rain) but we will see an increased risk after dark (40% risk of rain).  The biggest risk of rain (75%) will be in the early hours of tomorrow morning and it is possible that some rain will be lingering around as we commute to work on Tuesday.

The wind will be averaging  a speed of around 7mph and will be deriving, for the majority of the day, from the WSW-W.

.Summary for today : A warm day for the time of year but mostly cloudy.
