Rain for the sixth consecutive day. (WS7weather report 26-2-2017)

It is going to be another breezy and, during the later parts of the afternoon, rainy day.  This will mean rain for the sixth consecutive day.

The wind strength will be similar to yesterday.  At 13:30 hours yesterday we received our strongest wind speed for the day of 28mph.

It will be generally cloudy although we may see the odd brighter spell break through.  These brighter spells will help lift our top temperature up to around 9c.  Overnight will also remain mild with the low around 5c.

The wind chill will, once again, be playing a part in making the day “feel” cooler than it is. At 15mph the wind chill will remove around 3.5c from the “feel” of the actual air temperature.

The wind will be deriving from the SW for the majority of the day and the average wind speed will be around 15mph.  Care should be taken if you are walking or cycling in the park or near trees in general as branches, originally broken by Storm Doris, may be helped to fall to the ground by today’s wind.

Summary for today :Another breezy day with some showers later.
