Last of the bright days? (WS7 weather report 15-3-2017)

The day starts off with high air pressure over our area and this indicates that we are set for another dry and often bright day.

The early morning temperature (at approx 07:00 hours) will only be around 5c so it may be a little chilly in the shade when you step out this morning.  The day will, however, soon begin to warm up.   Our top temperature today will be around 14c (yesterday’s top temperature was 14.3c at 13:40 hours) and overnight, with more cloud gathering, the overnight low will ber around 7c.

Late tonight will see the air pressure begin to reduce (to around 1024mb) and this will, eventually, bring more cloud cover and a greater risk of occasional rain showers to our area from late tomorrow and during the weekend.  The risk of any rain today, however, is only low at around 6%.

The wind will be deriving from the WSW for large parts of the day.  The average wind speed will be around 5mph.

Summary for today : An often bright and sunny day.  mild too at 14c.
