How warm yesterday? (WS7 weather report 31-3-2017)

Yesterday saw the thermometer topped out at 18.6c at 16:16 hours yesterday but I cannot promise that today will completely follow suit.  it will, however, still be a mild day.

Overnight the minimum temperature was 11.4c at 02:14 hours and today will see a top temperature of around 14-15c.  This is still very mild for the time of year.

The rain radar images are showing plenty of small rain cloud clusters in our area first thing this morning so don’t be surprised if you come across the odd rain shower during your journey to work.  The risk of some rain this morning is 60% and today in general 55%.

Today will also be a generally cloudy day with the occasional brighter spell.  The air pressure, at the time of my observations, was falling slowly but it will settle at around 1005mb.

The wind will be deriving from a S-SW arc and the average wind speed will be around 8mph.

The weekend looks set to be mild on both days but with some sunny showers on Saturday.

Summary for today : A mild buyt often cloudy day.
