Happy days 2 (WS7 weather report 9-4-2017)

Today will see plenty of sunshine but it is also the beginning of a slight change in the weather pattern.  As the old saying goes “make hay whilst the suns shines” because tomorrow will not be such a gloriously sunny day.

Let’s fill in the good news section first.  Today will be a bright sunny day with the air temperature reaching around 21c. Yesterday’s top temperature was 19.7c and I fully expect us to top that.  There will be plenty of blue sky during the daylight hours.

Early evening we will see some additional cloud form but this will not prevent the air temperature reduce to around 4c overnight.

Today’s wind will be mostly from the S and will be a generally light whisper at around 3mph.

Now to the change.  The jet stream will, during the early hours, begin pushing down the UK from N to S.  This will create more cloud and will bring us a cool NW-WNW wind.  Tomorrow’s top temperature will probably only be around 10-12c.  The remainder of the week (and probably the Bank Holiday too) will remain under this cooler and cloudier regime.

Summary for today : Bright sunny spells and a top temperature of 20c+.
