smalllogo

As we look out of the window first thing this morning we will be greeted with a blue sky and a light covering of snow on the grass!

The snow will soon disappear but it is a cold start to the day with the air temperature at approximately 07:00 hours around 2c.

As the morning passes the cloud cover will increase slightly which will help warm the day up to a top temperature of around 8c.

During the afternoon a band of rain cloud will move through our area and this system will bring a 40% risk of some showers.

During the evening, however, the cloud will again thin which means we are set for another cool night of with an overnight low of around 1 to 2c.  (Last night’s minimum temperature was 1.7c at 03:10 hours).

The wind will be deriving from the cool W-WNW for much of the day with the average wind speed around 8mph.  This will add a further “chill” to the air temperature reducing the “feel” by around 2c.

Summary for today :A bright start.  Cloud increasing slightly as the day passes. A risk of rain showers this afternoon.
