Time to water the hanging baskets (WS7 weather report 14-6-2017)

smalllogo The sun was shining brightly when I made my 06:30 hours observations – a great start to the day!

The surface air pressure will reduce later today and overnight from 1018b to around 1013mb but this will not detract from it being an often bright and warm day.  Th risk of rain today is no greater than 7-8%.

We will, therefore, all have to water our hanging baskets tonight!

It will not be a totally cloud free day but there will be plenty of fragmentation to allow the sun to break through and warm up proceedings.

Our top temperature will be around 23c and overnight will remain warm at around 15c.  Last night’s minimum temperature was 10.9c at 04:52 hours.

The wind will be generally lighter than we have encountered during the last few days with an average speed of around 4-5mph.  The wind will be mostly deriving from the SE this morning and the S-SW this afternoon.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish my friend Bernadette a very happy birthday!

Summary for today: A generally cloudy day but mild.
