Barbecue weekend? (WS7 weather report 16-6-2017)

smalllogoToday sees the beginning of a real positive turn in our weather fortunes as we will have some mid 20s temperatures over the weekend.

Today will see the air pressure steadily rise to around 1026mb by the end of the day. The winds will be light and although we will have a partly cloudy sky it will be mild at around 20-21c.  Overnight our minimum temperature will be around 13c.  (Last night the minimum temperature was 12.2c at 03:44 hours).

Today’s breeze will be deriving from the WSW-W, which will help develop some cloud, but the average wind speed will only be around 6mph.

So you can make your plans for the weekend with some certainty of fine dry weather from late Saturday morning onward.

Summary for today: A partly cloudy mild day but the air pressure will improve steadily bringing fine weather at the weekend.
