Yesterday certainly turned out to be a scorcher with a top temperature of 29.6c recorded by my weather station at around 18:00 hours.
Today will also be very warm with a top temperature of around 28c. There will be plenty of clear spells although we will a little more cloud later in the afternoon. This cloud will not, however, not spoil the day. Overnight will also be warm with a low of around 15-16c. Last night’s minimum temperature was 14.6c at 05:44 hours.
The air pressure will remain stable at around 1024mb which means that the daytime WSW breeze will be a mere 2-3mph whisper.
Tomorrow will also be a warm day but as the week passes the air pressure will reduce and we will see the temperatures educe to more “normal” values.
Finally, I wish all of the competitors in the Staffordshire Ironman contest good luck. The conditions will be very difficult for them today.
Today’s pollen count and UV index are both high for the next 24 hours.
Summary for today: Another bright and warm day.
