Not without risk (WS7 weather report 25-6-2017)

smalllogoIt is another cloudy start to the day and it is all due to the W-WSW breeze and a low pressure front that is in our area at the moment.

Our top temperature will be, at least,  12c lower than it was last Sunday although, to make us all feel better, it will be similar to this time last year. Our top temperature today will be around 16c.  Overnight we can expect a minimum temperature of around 11c.

There are some rain clouds showing on the radar images and these will move towards our area mid to late morning.  The risk of us receiving some rain today is just over 50% (52-53%).

The wind will start off this morning from the W-WSW  but will move slightly clockwise (towards the WNW) as the low pressure system moves slightly upward.  Our air pressure will rise a little to around 1012mb by the end of the day.

My advice is for those you you stepping or riding out later this morning or during the afternoon is be prepared for some rain.  The rain clouds may simply blow through but the chances are just over 50% that we will receive some precipitation.

Summary for today: Cloudy and mild with a 50% risk of some rain.
