The low air pressure front (that delivered 1.6mm of rain in our area yesterday) has now moved northward and is temporarily replaced with some high surface air pressure. This, situation, however, will be short lived as another low pressure front will move into our area later tonight and will bring with it more rain to our patch tomorrow.
Today was the coolest start to the day we have had (11.7c at 06:32 hours) since the 5 June (10.8c at 06:34 hours). It was, however, a dry start and the risk of rain today is only around 10-12%.
It will be a generally cloudy day with a top temperature of around 18c and an overnight low of around 12c.
The wind will be light this morning but will increase in speed a little around tea time when the low pressure front start to push towards our area. The average WSW wind speed this morning will be around 2-3mph and this afternoon / evening around 6mph. The wind will eventually settle with a derivation from the E/ESE.
Summary for today: Partly cloudy and mild with only a low risk of any rain (12%).
