Rain about (WS7 weather report 28-6-2017)

smalllogoAs we head rapidly towards the end of the month there seems to be a bit of a dampener on proceedings as there will a low pressure system dominating the area.  The good news is that the air pressure will increase over the weekend!

Overnight we have had 4.4mm of rain fall in the Hammerwich area and the radar images show that there is more on the way.  On a  positive note our area will see less rain than those areas to the north and east of us.  The risk of further rain today is high at around 90%.

It will be a cool day with a top temperature of around 13c and with an overnight low of around 11c.

Today’s wind will be bringing with it cool air from the NE and as the air pressure continues to reduce towards 996mb it will be breezy at times.  The average wind speed today will be around 6mph.

Summary for today: A very overcast day with a risk of rain throughout.
