Half as warm (WS7 weather report 29-6-2017)

smalllogoIt is going to be another cloudy day and it is also going to feel a little cool today.  Temperature is relative though.  The top temperature today will still be around 15c which is hardly freezing but compared to around a week ago it is around half the air temperature we experiencing then.

Despite the cloud it is likely to be mostly a dry day with just a 30% risk of some odd isolated rainfall.  I would still take your brolly or hat with you at this level of risk.

Our top temperate today will be around 15c and overnight the minimum overnight will be around 11c.

The wind will be deriving from the W-WNW for much of the day and the average wind speed will be around 4mph.

Over the next 72 hours we will see a steady increase in air pressure to around 1015-1020mb.  This will bring with it more settled weather to the start of July with air temperatures nearer to the 20c mark.

Summary for today: Another overcast day but with only a 30% risk of rain.

Observations made on 29/6/2017 at 06:29 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.
