It is a very overcast start to the day but we will see some brighter spells develop along the way.
It will, however, not be all “plain sailing” as there is a 55% risk of some rain late morning around noon. (The radar images are showing a widespread band of rain cloud developing in our area but it may simply blow beyond our patch). During the day the barometer will also see the surface air pressure reduce a little from around 1021mb to around 1016mb.
Our top temperature will be around 20c and overnight the minimum temperature will be around 12-13c.
The wind, for much of the day, will be bringing with it mild air from a S-WSW arc. The more towards the W the wind direction derives the denser the clouds are likely to be.
Summary for today: A partly cloudy with a risk of some rain around noon.
