Not the brightest of starts (WS7 weather report 14-7-2017)

smalllogoDuring the early hours of today  3.4mm of rain has fallen in our area and there is still a 35-40% risk of some further drizzle or showers.  The rain radar images are showing that there area scattering of small rain clouds in and around our area during the period up to mid afternoon.

The good news, however, is that the air pressure is steadily rising and will peak at around 1020mb.  This suggests that the outlook is, overall, improving.

It will be a generally cloudy day with some bright spells too.  Our top temperature will be around 19-20c and overnight the minimum temperature will be around 13c.  Last night’s minimum temperature was 13.2c.

The wind will be deriving from the NW from mid morning onward and the average wind speed will be around 6-8mph.

Summary for today: A partly cloudy day but mild.  The risk of some drizzle during the morning.
