Big show weather (WS7 weather report 16-7-2017)

smalllogoToday sees three main events in our area today.  The first is the powerboat GP at Chasewater, the second is the open air cinema in Lichfield and the third main event is the classic car show in the Arboretum, Walsall.  All visitors and spectators would benefit from some dry weather, so let us see what is in store.

The good news is that there is only a 30% risk of rain in our area today and the peak of that risk is around noon.  The remainder of the day will be generally cloudy but dry.  As the day passes the air pressure will gradually rise to around 1024mb by this evening and, therefore, further reducing the risk of rain.

Our top temperature will be around 21c and overnight the minimum temperature will be around 12-13c.

Today’s wind will be deriving from a WSW-WNW arc and the average wind speed will be around 5mph.
