Not a good representative. (WS7 weather report 21-7-2017)

smalllogoFor many today is the last day of the school term but the weather is hardy going to be a good representative of what we consider to be mid summer weather.

There has already been some light rain falling in our area early this morning and the rain radar images show that a more generalised rain cloud will reach our area around 08:30 hour.  This will bring a 80% risk of rain to most parts of our area.

At the same time the surface air pressure will continue to reduce and this will bring another 80% risk of rain during the afternoon.  Some of the showers this afternoon could be heavy.

Our top temperature today will be around 19c and overnight the minimum temperature will be slightly cooler than of late at around 12c (last night’s minimum temperature was 13.5c).

Today’s wind will be deriving from the ESE-SSE and at times it will become breezy.  The average wind speed today will be around 7mph.
