A seat in the garden (WS7 weather report 27-8-2017)

smalllogo

It is a bright and sunny start to the day and the good news is that this good weather will remain with us all day.  If you are planning a trip out or even to just to sit in the garden then today would be a good day to do so.  There is less than an 8% risk of any rain today.

Our top temperature today will be around 22-23c and although we will see some fragmented cloud cover from time to time we can expect 8 plus hours of sunshine.  Later tonight some high cloud cover will gather and this will help maintain an overnight temperature of around 13c.

Today’s light breeze will be deriving from the SW for the majority of the day.  The average wind speed will only be around 3-4mph.

Just a reminder of events on in our area today include the Lichfield Food Festival but there is also, among others, like the Scarecrow Spectacular in Elford and a Steam Open Day at Clay Mills to consider.

Tomorrow (Bank Holiday Monday) looks set to provide another bright and sunny day although the air pressure will begin to change so you may notice that the breeze is a little bit fresher.

Summary for today: A dry and often sunny day.
