It is a breezy start to the day and the barometer was reading a lowly but steady 985.7mb at th time of my observations.. This information does not suggest that there is going to be any immediate improvement in the weather pattern.
A look at the rain radar images shows that there are plenty of small clusters of rain cloud heading our way. Many will blow by but others will leave some rain. The risk of rain today is around 84%.
In the breeze it is going to feel cooler than the thermometer is indicating. Our top thermometer temperature will be around 16c but this will feel more like 13c. Overnight, the cloud cover will thin or dissipate and this will allow air temperature to reach a low of around 9c.
The breeze will be deriving from the SW-WSW and as the air pressure will slowly increase during the day to a maximum nearer 1000mb we can expect a steady breeze. The average wind sped today will be around 10-12mph.
Summary for today: Lots of cloud during working hours with a high risk of some rain too.
