Best for a while (WS7 weather report 19-9-2017)

It is a cool start to the morning and, as you make your way to work or school, the air temperature will be in single figures.

At temperatures below 5c gardeners now need to begin considering how and which plants they can leave outside and/ or unprotected.  Last night’s minimum temperature was 6.3c.

Today will be the best, weather wise, we have enjoyed for a while.  Any early mist and drizzle will soon burn away and from 09:00 onward the risk of rain is in single figures (around 8%).

The cloud cover will increase later in the afternoon / early evening but during the rest of the day we can expect to see some brighter spells through fragmented clouds.

Our top temperature today will be around 15c and overnight the minimum will be around 10c.

Today’s breeze will be from the WSW and the average wind speed will be around 3-4mph.

Summary: Some bright spells, little risk of rain and cloud covering increasing later to bring a milder night than of late.
