Warm air from the SW (WS7 weather report 20-9-2017)

smalllogoIt is another pleasant start to the day but the weather is set for a period of change as a low pressure system from the West sets to move into our area.  I can see on the webcams on the west Wales coast that it is already (at 07:18 hours) very cloudy and breezy.

This cloud will work its way into our area as the day passes and by mid afternoon we can expect to see a general cloud covering.

This increasing cloud will then lead to a 55-60% risk of some rain mid evening.

With a warm SSW-SW breeze it will be a mild day with a top temperature of around 18c and even overnight we will only see the thermometer reading reduce to around 12c.

Today will be breezy at times with the average wind speed around 8mph with gusts of around 18mph.

Summary: A bright start but increasing cloud and a steady breeze will move into our area as the day passes.
