Today sees the first day of the Huddlesford Heritage Gathering and, therefore, some good weather is required to help make the event the greatest success it could possible be.
I am sure that a lot of effort has been made putting the event together and I would like to wish the Lichfield & Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust and Lichfield Cruising Club a great weekend.
This morning will see a 15-17% risk of some light drizzle but it is unlikely that we have receive any measurable rain all day. There will, however, be some low and/or high level cloud present throughout the next 24 hours. This cloud will, however, not significantly reduce the air temperature.
It will be a mild day with a top temperature of around 17c and overnight the minimum temperature will be around 11c.
Today’s breeze will be deriving from the S/SSE and, in the main, the wind will be light. The average wind speed will be around 5mph.
Summary: A generally cloudy day but mild and dry.
