Best in the east (WS7 weather report 24-9-2017)

smalllogoIt is a mild but generally cloudy start to the day, however, the good news is that if you plan to work outside during the daylight hours you are unlikely to be incumbered by any rain.

There will be some rain falling on the west coast of the UK this morning but, currently, a high pressure system is keeping the rain away from our area.  The best of today’s weather will be in the east of the UK.

In our area we are, however, likely to see some rain during the evening and the risk level is around 70%.  As an indication that the rain is on its way  the cloud bed will significantly lower.

Today’s top temperature will be around 19c and overnight the minimum will be around a mild 13c.

The wind will be deriving from the SE for much of the day and the average wind speed will be around 5mph.

If you are looking for something or somewhere to visit then today sees the second and final day of the Huddlesford Heritage Gathering

Summary: Mild during daylight hours.  A risk of rain during the evening.
