A real autumnal start (WS7 weather report 26-9-2017)

smalllogoThis morning has a real autumnal feel to it with swirls of mist and even possibly fog in our area. Care will have to be taken when travelling in around more rural areas or near water.

The good news is that there is very little risk of any measurable rain today (around 7%) although it will feel damp when out in the mist.

The mist will clear as the morning warms up even further (the air temperature was already at 13.6c as early as around 06:30 hours).

Our top temperature today will be around 17-18c and we will see some bright spells although there will, often, a general medium to high height cloud covering.  Overnight our minimum temperature will reduce to around 12c.

Today’s breeze will be light (part of the reason we have some mist lying around first thing this morning) with the average wind speed around 2-3mph.  The wind will be deriving from the E/ESE.

Summary: A misty start but brightening later to leave a mild and dry day.
