Mild spell (WS7 weather report 20-12-2017)

It is a very mild start to the day with the air temperature, just after 06:30 hours, already at 7.9c.  We can expect the maximum temperature today to just topple into double figures at around 11c. Our overnight low will also be mild at around 8-9c.  The day will, however, be generally cloudy.

The rain radar images and forecast models are suggesting that today will be a dry day although there is a slight risk of some rain falling in our area during the early hours.  The risk of rain, today, during, daylight hours is around 12% and overnight the risk increases to around 35%.

Today’s breeze, due to the air pressure remain high between 1033mb and 1036mb,  will be light.  The average wind speed will be around 5mph and the wind will be mostly deriving from a WSW -W arc.  Initially first thing this morning the wind is a little more southerly deriving from the SW.

Summary: A mild day with only a light breeze.
