smalllogo

Every thing is relative and today, compared to yesterday, starts off with the air temperature at 2.2c at 06:32 hours – this is almost tropical!

Today sees the air pressure steadily reduce as a low pressure system to the N and W of our region begins to move across the UK and will bring a change of wind direction, some slightly milder air, more cloud and possibly some rain.

Our top temperature today will be around 4c during daylight hours  although we will see the thermometer reach around 6c overnight.

Today’s breeze will start off from the cool NE but as the day passes we will see a slight, but significant, wind shift to the ESE-SE.  This later wind direction will bring with it milder air.  The average wind speed will be around 6mph.

The day will be generally cloudy with the cloud sitting at a medium height (around 6,000 feet) for much of the time.  This evening there is a 48% risk of some rain.

Summary: A cool start but the day will continue to warm as it passes.  Cloudy with a risk of some rain later in the day.
