Air pressure rising (WS7 weather report 11-1-2018)

As I wrote this blog (at approximately 06:30 hours) the air pressure was rising rapidly suggesting a diminishing risk of rain today.  A look at the radar images confirms this thought.  The risk of any measurable rain today is only around 11%.

It is, however, a cool start to the day with the air temperature only around 4c during the commute to work.  As the day passes we will see the odd brighter spells in what will be a mostly cloudy day.  These brighter spells will help lift our top temperature up to around 6c.

The wind will be light but deriving from the NW so it will have a “bite” to it.  The average wind speed will be around 5-6mph.

As we head towards the weekend the synoptic charts suggest that it will be a dry but generally cloudy and cool couple of days.

Summary: A cool day with a NW wind but remaining generally dry.
