It is a cold start to the day with some light grass frost and possibly icy patches around.  The air temperature was only 0.5c at 06:41 hours and, therefore, you will need to wrap up warm when you step outside today.

We will see some bright spells through varying levels of cloud.  Our top temperature will be around 4-5c and overnight the minimum temperature will be around 1c.  The risk of any rain today is only 16%.

Today’s breeze will be a lot lighter than we encountered on Wednesday evening.  The breeze today will be deriving from the WSW and the strongest breeze will be around lunchtime.  Today’s average wind speed will be around 7mph.

Looking at the weekend.  Tomorrow looks as if it will be a dry afternoon with a risk of some sleet/snow in the morning.  Sunday continues to look as if we are set some sleet and heavier periods of rain.  The heaviest of the rain is currently tracking from around lunchtime and throughout the afternoon.  At lot, however, can change between now and then.

Summary: A cool day but mostly dry.
