A bit of improvement (WS7 weather report 25-1-2018)

Today sees the weather improve  little and, at least, we are unlikely to see anything like the heavy downpour we encountered yesterday morning.

We still have a 60% risk of some showers today but these are likely to be short-lived.  On the counter side we will also be blessed with a few brighter spells through the day.

Our top temperature today will be around 8c and overnight the minimum temperature will reach around 4c.

The breeze will remain brisk but certainly not as strong as yesterday.  Our average wind speed will be around 7-8mph and the wind will be deriving from the SSW.

Tomorrow sees the wind direction move towards the NW which will help develop some brighter spells.

So far this month we have received 52mm of rain which is 47% more than the corresponding point this time last year.

Summary: Less breezy than yesterday with some bright spells and the risk of occasional rain showers.
